We need to be contracting our energy demand. If we don’t plan for contraction, Nature will do it for us. We won’t have the luxury of ignoring this for very much longer.

~ Julian Darley ~

Saving fuel/energy, growing food and living sustainably is patriotic act and is our duty as responsible citizens.

Over the course of our journey, we've implemented many appropriate and alternative energy solutions. However, we believe that even if we can use and implement these "band aid " solutions, it doesn't grant us the right to use more energy no matter the renewable source.

Nonetheless, we have to use what solutions we have available to us in the "here and now" and any steps (no matter how small or "insignificant") to lighten our footprint are better than waiting around for "the perfect situation" or "someone else to fix it."

Please note: we are working hard to get PART II of this site ready. These sections/articles will be published once they are completed.

In the meantime, you can visit our "old site" and read about a few of the steps we have taken (remember: the external links will not work)

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
