Man's work with Nature that furthers Nature's aims is the work that rewards him the best.

::Soil:: By healing and maintaining the soil, we feed the soil which in turn will give us healthy plants free from diseases and pests. It is a completion of the wheel of life. Caring for the soil is a vital process - our lives and health depend on it.
"In about 150 years the agricultural soil resources of the United States have been cut by about half, and in some areas such as Oklahoma, a single generation sufficed to destroy almost 30 percent of the soil mantle. Such a systematic if unconscious rape of the land has had an impact that rivals or exceeds that of 6 to 10 millennia of cultivation in the Mediterranean world."
::Water:: While living in the city and being tied to the municipal services, it's hard to become untangled from this dependency. One cannot just go and dig a well; however with some ingenuity we hope to try to capture and store one of the most precious resources here in the arid west – water.
Fresh water is critical to human survival, settlement and development. Although fresh water is often viewed as an inexhaustible resource with unlimited renewable capacity, only 2.5% of all the water on earth is fresh.
Please note: we are working hard to get PART II of this site ready. These sections/articles will be published once they are completed.
In the meantime, you can visit our "old site" and read about a few of the steps we have taken (remember: the external links will not work)
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
